A BREAKFAST (OR LUNCH) THAT NOURISHES!
HOW TO
STEEL CUT OATS
1 - BOIL 3/4 CUP OF WATER WITH 1 TSP TUMERIC, CUMMIN AND A PINCH OF KOSHER SALT
2 - ADD 1/4 CUP OF STEEL CUT OATS. SIMMER AND STIR FREQUENTLY UNTIL WATER IS ABSORBED
3 - REMOVE FROM HEAT
POACHED EGG
1 - FILL A SEPARATE PAN WITH 3/4 FULL OF WATER AND BRING TO BOIL
2 - CRACK EGG INTO A SMALL BOWL THEN GENTLY POUR IT INTO THE BOILING WATER PAN (GET THE BOWL AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE TO THE WATER)
3 - POACH EGG FOR 1-2 MIN. DEPENDING ON DESIRED FIRMNESS
4 - TRANSFER EGG TO A PAPER TOWEL LINED PLATE
5 - ASSEMBLE STEEL CUT OATS AND THE POACHED EGG IN A BOWL, GARNISH WITH SEA SALT, DICED RED ONION, JALAPEÑO (IF DESIRED) DICED AVOCADO

3/4 CUP OF WATER
1 TSP TUMERIC
1 TSP CUMMIN
1/4 CUP OF STEEL CUT OATS
