My name is Hughes N’Cho-Allepot I am a Dreamer, a guy from Paris who, after landing in New York City as a model, started to design and build products out of necessity. And It's in New York City that I met my wife and business partner Meghan who had just arrived from Northern Wisconsin.
My journey in the design world started at a young age with the building of toys, which eventually led to designing and making furniture for my apartment and then my showroom on Bond Street.
Meghan, is a natural fabricator. Her journey began when she received a sew machine for Christmas as a child. In college she turned thrift store bargains into new trends.
After studying Graphic Design, Meghan ended working in retail management for Club Monaco and Tommy Hilfiger in SoHo.
the FRENCHEDUCATION started with the idea to make inspired t-shirts and sweatshirts. This quickly developed to an array of products we wanted in our home. Beautiful, high quality, and thoughtfully designed, our products range from inspired dress shirts, t-shirts, sweatshirts, trousers, swimwear, exquisite home accessories, bath products, timepieces, and... recipes. Our clothes are mostly genderless.
Products we wanted, yet couldn’t find.
With the help of my wife, Meghan, I’ve envisioned the FRENCHEDUCATION an online platform that is equal parts e-store and blog to share and spread all we do and love. We’ve designed and fabricated (literally) most of the products, wore them, tasted them and tried them in our home.
We want to build a brand with the focus of perfecting each product with your satisfaction in mind rather than chasing trends. Intelligent and well made. "Elegant Clothes For the Elegant Mind" is our Ethos. It’s always summer is our state of mind.
William E. Simon once said: “Infinitely more important than sharing one’s material wealth is sharing the wealth of ourselves - our time and energy, our passion and commitment”. Creating and Design is our passion and we want to share it with you.
